Gifted Boot Camp, Day 2 May 10, 2018

Responsible for paying for Dual Enrollment?  Is it in Scope and Sequence?

Litmus test GIEP is acceleration provided in what we have in district

Giftedness on a trajectory.  Intelligence is maleable.

Goal in standards based

Webb's Depth of Knowledge

Look at points of data to accerate

Do not report scaled scores

Reading, Math, writing, CDT ok

Find sweet spot, then are we progressing.  CDT blowing through or failing.

4.24 PA Code (III)CHECK...took Keystone, pass with advanced, don't need to take course.

Evaluations could be by teacher, person who studies data

CHECK SAS for CDT to see how they can be used for enrichment/Accel.  Middle School CDT for upper elementary.  See Eric Lech

PLEP only new material

Strategic reading writing, listening, speaking for Cameron....scope of unit before compaction test.

PLEP All math, reading together.  Multiple data points

Dual enrollment, then take the SAT test
